The Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences features a highly diverse research program. Field studies are conducted around the world from the high Arctic to tropical rain forests. The program is unique in Canada in its interdisciplinary approach to the study of environmental earth science, geology, atmospheric science and geography. The department's five museum collections contribute strongly to the scholarly experience.
